Uneducated?  C'mon man...  I know what a barn is..  I recently saw the Thorium Fuel Cycle for the first time.  There are dozens of youtubes if you care to learn and understand... They didn't teach it in school.  It doesn't make toxic plutonium.  We had them in the 1950's. It is dynamite tech for molten salt reactors.  Thorium is all over the place and needs no enrichment.

 Can you read the Chart of Nuclides? I have a copy of the GE publication.  It's worth 800$ in top shape.
